Anxiety, depression, and academic pressure among Indian students have reached crisis levels. The constant stress of competitive exams, family expectations, peer comparison, and an uncertain future is taking a severe toll on young minds.
Only a small fraction of distressed students ever reach professional help. Despite widespread need, the barriers of cost, stigma, and lack of accessible services mean most students suffer in silence.
Treatment gaps run as high as 70-90 percent – meaning the vast majority of students who need support never receive it. The consequences include declining grades, damaged relationships, deteriorating physical health, and in the worst cases, tragedy.
Early intervention can change everything. But only if students can access help when they need it – without barriers, without stigma, without delay.
Our graded care model ensures students get the right level of support at the right time – with safety, anonymity, and continuity built in from the start.
Students begin with low-stigma, anonymous chat support – no names, no registration, no pressure. This removes the biggest barrier: fear of judgment or discovery. Many students just need someone to listen, and they get that immediately.
If deeper support is needed, they can escalate to anonymous voice calls with trained counselors, still maintaining complete privacy. Their identity remains protected through our masked ID system.
When ongoing therapy is appropriate, students move to structured sessions with licensed professionals – but only when needed. This graded approach keeps costs manageable and ensures students don't feel overwhelmed by intensive therapy before they're ready.
Throughout their journey, masked IDs and shared records ensure continuity of care. Students don't have to repeat their story every time. Their progress follows them across tiers, while their privacy remains intact.

Every interaction is backed by professional oversight, crisis protocols, and ethical safeguards
Every responder – from chat agents to senior therapists – is trained on crisis-intervention protocols. They know how to recognize warning signs, de-escalate tense situations, and connect students with emergency support when needed.
Technology assists, but humans decide. AI helps scale access and reduce costs, but every critical decision – especially around safety – is made by trained professionals who understand context, nuance, and urgency.
All care is supervised by licensed counseling psychologists, clinical psychologists, and psychiatrists. Junior responders work under direct supervision. Complex cases are escalated to senior clinicians. Regular case reviews ensure quality and safety.
Clinical oversight at every tier. We work with top mental wellness experts, crisis-intervention trainers, and regulatory advisors to maintain the highest standards of ethical, evidence-based care.
When responders identify high-risk signals – thoughts of self-harm, suicidal ideation, abuse, or immediate danger – clear protocols kick in. Students are immediately connected to certified emergency helplines, local crisis resources, and when appropriate, emergency services.
Safety always comes first. We maintain partnerships with national crisis helplines (AASRA, iCall, Vandrevala Foundation) and regional mental wellness emergency services. In life-threatening situations, we will breach anonymity to ensure student safety – and families will be informed.
We align with the spirit and requirements of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and are working toward integration with national health frameworks like ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) and ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission).
Your data, your control. Student information is encrypted, anonymized where possible, and never shared without explicit consent – except in life-threatening emergencies. Parents and institutions receive only aggregated, de-identified insights.
Every student interaction is protected by professional oversight, ethical protocols, and regulatory compliance – so you can trust that your students are in safe hands.

This privacy guarantee is what makes students willing to seek help.
Simple, actionable steps for parents and teachers to support students without overstepping boundaries
Start with empathy, not judgment: "I've noticed you seem stressed/down lately. I care about you and want to help. How are you really feeling?"
Normalize seeking support: "Many students are going through tough times right now. Talking to someone can really help – it's a sign of strength, not weakness."
Avoid making it about you: Don't say "I'm so worried" or "How could you not tell me?" Focus on their experience, not your feelings.
Listen more than you speak: Give them space to share without interrupting, fixing, or dismissing their concerns.
Emphasize anonymity: "There's a service where you can chat with a professional completely anonymously. No one will know it's you – not me, not your teachers, no one."
No commitment required: "You can just try it once. If it doesn't help, that's okay. But it might be worth talking to someone who understands what students go through."
Highlight the ease: "It's on your phone, takes a few minutes to start, and you can stop anytime. There's no registration or paperwork."
Offer to help them access it: "Would you like me to show you how it works? Or I can leave you alone to try it yourself – whatever feels more comfortable."
Ask open-ended questions: "How are you feeling lately?" not "Did you talk to someone on that app?"
Respect their boundaries: If they don't want to share details, that's okay. Say: "I'm glad you're getting support. You don't have to tell me about it – I just want you to know I'm here if you ever want to talk."
Look for positive changes: Improved mood, better sleep, returning to activities they enjoy – these are signs support is working, even if they don't discuss it.
Check in regularly but gently: "I'm always here if you want to talk" is better than daily interrogations.
If you notice any of these warning signs, don't wait – reach out for professional help immediately:
